Hi Priya,
Thanks for flagging this directly. I appreciate the transparency, and I understand Thomas's thinking on operational completeness.
We can absolutely accommodate a Milan assessment, but I want to be straightforward about trade-offs given where we are in the project timeline.
**Full Milan deep-dive:** Would require on-site observation, interviews, and full process documentation—realistic timeline would push final delivery to mid-December and would require a scope/fee adjustment.
**Light-touch Milan assessment (recommended):** We can conduct a focused review of Milan operations (interviews with Milan-based staff, document review, high-level workflow assessment) and include findings as an appendix to the main report. This can be accommodated within our existing timeline and fees, though it will be lighter in depth than the Florence analysis.
My recommendation is the light-touch approach, which will give Thomas the operational picture he wants while keeping December 1 delivery intact. If Thomas prefers the full deep-dive, we can discuss timing and fee adjustments.
What works best for you and Thomas?
Best regards,
Marcus Webb
