# Email: Draft bottleneck analysis ready **From:** Yuki Tanaka **To:** Marcus Webb, Nora Chen **Date:** November 3, 2025, 11:45 AM **Subject:** Draft bottleneck analysis ready --- Marcus, Nora, I've finished the draft bottleneck analysis and audit findings. Everything is attached. **What's included:** - Complete audit trail sampling results (9 transaction batches covering Sept 2024 - Oct 2025) - Detailed bottleneck analysis by function and process stage - Severity ratings for each identified risk - Preliminary recommendations on priority areas - Allegato: bottleneck-analysis-v3.xlsx (full data workbook) **Important caveat:** I need to flag that I'm **not fully confident in 2 of the severity ratings** in the draft. Specifically, risks #7 and #9 (documentation standards and standards enforcement) have smaller data samples than I'd prefer because of the historical data gaps we discussed. The assessment is reasonable, but it's more inferential than I'd like. Risks #7 and #9 are both marked in red in the spreadsheet. The analysis is still defensible and I stand by the direction of the findings, but Marcus and Nora should review those two specifically and let me know if you want me to adjust the severity downward or add more caveats to the language. Everything else in the analysis I'm confident about. The intake bottleneck, audit trail gaps, and risk register integration issues are all well-supported by complete data sets. **Next steps:** Please review and send me feedback by Wednesday so I can incorporate any changes into the final version. Once you've signed off on severity, we can move this to the synthesis phase for recommendations. Yuki
