Dear Thomas and Priya,
We've now completed the interview and observation phase and are moving into detailed analysis. I wanted to provide an interim update on our progress and flagging a few items for your awareness.
**Completed work:**
- All six interviews conducted (executive, technical, and team lead perspectives)
- Three-week observation period concluded with comprehensive notes across all key process areas
- Preliminary document review completed; taxonomy analysis underway
**Key observations (preliminary):**
We are seeing several areas of operational strength in compliance documentation and process discipline. There are also some emerging themes around cross-team communication and system integration that warrant deeper analysis. We will reserve detailed findings for the interim report to follow in mid-November.
**Data gaps we've identified:**
- Historical audit request records (pre-2023) would strengthen our analysis of trend analysis—we'll work with what's available, but wanted to flag this
- Some system access limitations prevented full observation of the technical handoff process—David has been helpful in providing context, but full access would be ideal
**Timeline:**
- Interim findings report: November 15
- Final comprehensive report: December 1
- Available for interim findings discussion: late November
